Is your website lacking hits, is your product / service selling as well as it should?. Without well placed online marketing and search engine optimisation, your website might be as hard to find as a needle in a haystack.

An internet user that is searching for your type of business probably won't search for your business name unless they have already heard of you. The majority of users therefore are probably searching for relevant keywords.

Taking the example of one of our clients - Kirklees Council's 'build' project.

'build' is a local purchasing and labour initiative for the construction sector. Searching for "build kirklees" on the Google search engine places them at the top of the list.

Most people won't know the name of the organisation however and may well search for something like "training opportunities in construction for Kirklees", this particular search lists 'build's website in third position on google, the first two hold information about the organisation and provide direct links to the website.

The reason that this search query shows the website so high up the list is because of the search engine optimisation and electronic marketing (e.g. Reciprocal Links, Advertisements) that was carried out for the website. Without it, chances are our client's website would not have been shown on the first five or six pages of search results.
